Abstract Background Surgery is often indicated for definitive biopsy or as the primary treatment modality pediatric skull base lesions. Traditionally, open surgical approaches were utilized to address pathology. However recently, expanded endoscopic sinus surgery has been a minimally invasive approach addressing pathology in population. Purpose This review provides an overview of current literature evaluating unique anatomic challenges and safety efficacy procedures Findings The anatomy small continues develop throughout childhood leading challenges.
